A lot of "fans of Tom Clancy games" (I'm one of them) have been expecting the latest installment, so Ubisoft released the sneak preview of Rainbow Six: Patriots.
By judging the video, it looks like a clone of Heavy Rain with tactical action of previous R6 games and Ghost Recon. I hope they don't mess this up.
The footage does confirm few familiar basic gameplay:
- First-person gameplay with certain moments and cover done in third-person.
- Full tactical display with squad control options and enemy tagging.
- Tech not dissimilar to Ghost Recon.
- Multiple perspectives/characters mid-mission
- Lively environments with NPC civilians.
