New C&C coming to social networks

With the seeming end of C&C, We all know that the EA-- "the demon gaming company" raped and killed the C&C on purpose because of money. But however, EA decided to revive the C&C series one more time by creating a social network game called "Tiberium Alliances" which is obviously from Tiberium universe. I doubt that they may give quality C&C to us gamers since the "changes" it took. The quality C&C I may like to try is Generals 2-- which featured on VGA 2011 "World Premiere".

As I watched the video, The starting intro, as usual, some of it are recycled (EA logo, hill scenes, and particularly, units) and the gameplay is cool though. But with recent history of EA pulling our legs, I may call shenanigans on their part since it is only a beta and needlessly to say, I don't trust them.

To prevent another disaster, they may try some following changes-- including my opinion about it:

  • It may be improved by following the opinions of beta testers and common gamers.
  • Company policy, anyone?
  • Avoid rushing, they always like rushing their works.
  • "Inexperienced always leads the more experienced", now I know there are many screw-ups in game industry because of so-called "Managers" bosses their employees who knows how to game. Hell, they don't even play at all! So change it and hire some competent managers!
  • Lessen it's price. I don't care if they make it thirty or forty bucks but they should make it decent enough to be enjoyable.
  • Beta! don't forget to make betas.
  • Don't even try to fools us!

They also said that it's free to play but I'm not crossing my finger a bit!

Serious Sam: 3 epic DRM tactic

Instead of Draconian DRM, Croteam created a more ingenious piracy deterrent: "The Immortal Pink Scorpion". Good thing though, that they didn't follow the examples of Ubisoft and EA.

Good job guys for your genius idea. But wait, Could hackers bypass it?

Is BioWare Working On Mercs Inc? How About Command & Conquer?

Is BioWare Working On Mercs Inc? How About Command & Conquer?

"Is this rumor true?" I don't know yet. But perhaps the Bioware will take hold of the franchise instead of crappy EA. As we all know that EA killed the Command and Conquer series since they bought the Westwood for $3.4 million claiming the rights and credits of creating the C&C series.

I doubt the Bioware can have a permission to create the next C&C game since the rights of it is on the hands of EA. However, the Bioware studios is under the EA company, so they may have the chance to create the game and improve it. But there are the chance that the EA would ride on their success and rake some money like they did on some games under them.

It is also stated by Mr. Nirolak on twitter that the Next C&C will be shooter, it is unconfirmed whether it's FPS or third person.

"Basically: mysterious BioWare game probably is a shooter developed at EALA previously known as Mercs Inc."

I just hope that this Command and Conquer is not a crap like the previous creation of EA-- so called C&C 4. Hell, if this is the revival of the greatness of C&C franchise, I would buy it. But for now, I would stick to C&C 3: Kane's Wrath.

EA bans BF3 cheaters

From botchweed gaming news:
"EA announced yesterday via its Battlefield 3 Twitter account, that they have successfully caught and banned “hundreds of offending accounts” and have also wiped many of those accounts which have been caught “boosting”. Boosting basically involves using an exploit in the game to artificially level up your account instead of doing it through genuine gameplay.
Boosting was present throughout the BF3 beta, although obviously with it being a beta was not of great concern. Unfortunately the same exploit was found with the current retail version of the game allowing users to gain tens of thousands of points during a single match.
EA have said that they will continue to monitor account activity and actively ban those who are found to be breaching the game’s terms of service."

Ho ho! It seems EA removing some damn hackers. But sadly, their method is not effective at eradicating every hacker in BF3. It seems that they found a loophole for their hacking tools!

Simcity nostalgia

Just installed and played "SimCity 3000" this morning. I love to play it again which brings back good memories when I was eight. Building utility or public buildings, zoning, god mode, taxes and triggering disasters are the classics.

But unfortunately, the current "SimCity" is messed by the another company called  "Tilted Mill Entertainment" by removing the core gameplay of the previous "SimCity".

Bad bad Mr. CEOs

Greed and Corruption exists in our lifetime. Be it in government, gaming industry or in school, it will forever exists because we are prone to temptation and sin. But anyway, the CEOs of some gaming companies have been conning us out of our money when we buy their games. They don't care about gaming. Hell, they don't even play videogames at all!

These are some notable CEO who ruin the gaming industry:

Bobby Kotick- A-hole CEO of almighty "Activision".

My Comment: "Mr.Kotick, please apply some proper etiquette on public speaking . Also, make the latest installments less crappy and having fair price."

Johnny Riccitielo- Money hungry mongerer of evil "EA"

My Comment: "Stop monopolizing the entire video gaming industry and fix the goddamn tech support department!"

Yves Guillemot- Fucktard of awesome "Ubisoft"

My Comment: "Monsieur Guillemot, remove the privacy-invasive DRM. You know that it hurts us more than it hurts you."

My last comment is: "Hey boneheads! use your goddamn common senses. You won't be rich if we boycott your stupid products. hehe"
